Shaggin'

Jon and I went to the Shagapalooza at our church last night.  It was a blast!  There was dancing and great finger foods.  I have to say that the Chocolate rice krispy treats were the best... only because I made them.  I was proud of Jon, He got out there and danced with me.  We learned how to Shag and do turns together.  It was a great time for the both of us.

Me doing the electric slide... fun fun

Cassie (in the white dress).  Shes our womens director.  Dancing to "Brick House"

Everyone doing the Cupid Shuffle.

The Mens ministry donig a skit.. it was really funny.

So we had a great time.  I think i overheard next year might be 80's night.... but we shall see.

Wedding Fever

A little update on all the weddings that I have going right now.  I have one in October at Gold Bug Island on Sullivans Island.  I think it will be very nice and definitely very Southern.  Her signature drinks will be served in Mason Jars.  I think that is too cute!  Then the next three are in May of 2010.  Thats nuts.  I will be super busy next may.  Two weddings are back to back and then one is booked for memorial day weekend.  Plus the end of school for both kids.  Hmmm, maybe I should have thought that through more.  lol.

Check out my website if you get a chance. http://www.aneventtoremembercharleston.com/

Keep your fingers crossed as I submitted my Magazine launch party proposal this week.  The magazine is "Magazine Blu" and they apporached me and two other planners here in charleston to submit a proposal to put on a $100.000 event here in Charleston.  I spent a good amount of time on the proposal and theme, so keep your fingers crossed!!
