Billiards Baby Shower

Ill start off by saying "sorry".  I know there was no linky party on Friday.  Both of our computers, laptop and desktop, having been giving us a hard time.  Of course they both decided not to work on a friday.  So anyway, there will be a link party on friday so get your fab finds ready.  Plus I will highlight a few of my favs later in the week.  So check back to grab your "featured" button.

Yesterday I threw a baby shower for my sister in law, my husbands brother's wife.  Her hubby loves to play pool, so they wanted it to be a billiard theme party.  At first I didnt think I would be able to pull it off,
but it turned out really nice.

I used lots of fabulous scrabbooking paper, found at Michaels and AC Moore.  Then of course with a little ribbon thrown in, it turned out super cute.

Here are some highlights.

This is a copy of the invite, designed by my very own sis, Julie.  She also designed the cupcake toppers below.

This is the over all display of the party and me of course.
The baby's name is Ewan Kai, pronounced - U Win  Ki - Like Ewan Mcgregor, the actor.  Cute name!

The Menu
Pimento Cheese Sandwiches (at momma to-be's request.  Her hubby made it.)
Fresh Fruit
Cupcakes
Peanut M&Ms (Her fav again)
Apple Cheese Snacks
Party Mix
Spinach Dip
Punch (see here for the recipe)
Sweet Tea
Fresh Lemonade

The Favors were Homemade Rice Krispie Treats. YUM!

Her special chair was marked with this cute sign.

This is the momma to be and their daughter, Leona.

And last but not least, a shout out to my two helpers.
My hubby's sister, amanda, and my mom, Lisa.

Hope you liked the party.
Leave some comment love and tell me what you think.

**A little side note, the numbers 6, 2, and 1, have no significance other than the fact that those are the number on the billiard balls.**

** Im linking this post up with some of these parties. **

  10. Very cool! This theme speaks to me. I used to play pool and was on a league and played tournaments and stuff. Sadly it all ended after having babies :-(
